Sean is a founding partner of Cove and leads the delivery of our project management services. With over 20 years' experience in the construction industry, Sean has a foundation in quantity surveying and draws on many years of PM experience across a range of sectors including mixed use regeneration, residential, commercial and education.

Sean's approach is to guide clients in taking a strategic, results-driven approach to achieving the best outcomes for their projects.

Before founding Cove, Sean spent a decade as a partner at a national consultancy and following its acquisition served as Managing Director of the UK business from 2021 to 2024. Sean’s vision for a smaller, agile, consultancy – one that puts clients first and leverages technology to drive better results – inspired him to co-found Cove.

James is a Project Director at Cove, bringing over 15 years' experience delivering complex construction projects across major regeneration schemes, commercial developments and public-sector infrastructure. Primarily working as a Project Manager and Contract Administrator, he's equally comfortable leading the commercial side of construction delivery, giving clients a genuinely all-round service.

James's approach is defined by his eye for detail. His rigorous programme oversight, risk management and quality assurance give clients confidence at every stage, while his focus on aligning teams around shared objectives keeps projects moving and issues resolved before they escalate.

James spent the earlier part of his career delivering complex schemes for large London consultancies, and joined Cove for the opportunity to keep working on ambitious, challenging projects. On site, he's known for creating a genuine team atmosphere, bringing people together around a shared goal and the same attention to detail that defines his approach.
