Cooden Drive is a striking three-storey timber-frame home overlooking the seafront at Bexhill. Combining white render, elegant brickwork, zinc cladding, and warm timber soffits, the design delivers understated sophistication while framing panoramic sea views from multiple terraces. Built alongside a contemporary boat shed featuring a golf simulator, fire pit, and direct beach access, the home celebrates modern coastal living in every detail.
Our role
Cove Consulting provided full pre- and post-contract Cost Management and Contract Administration, guiding the project from early negotiation through to completion. Acting as the client’s commercial partner, we led value negotiations with a single contractor, ensuring the agreed price reflected best value and quality. Throughout construction, we managed change control and maintained accurate cost forecasting, ensuring the client remained informed and confident. Our proactive leadership in meetings and collaborative problem-solving helped deliver the high-quality finish that defined the project.
